For anyone interested in watching artists paint en plein air the Fort Myers Beach "Paint the Beach" festival is this week.  I will be painting all day on Tues, Wed. and Thurs.  There is a sunset painting competition on Wed. evening starting at 4:30 at Junkanoo.  Artwork will be on display at the festival tent in Santini Marina Plaza Saturday 9AM to 6PM and Sunday 10AM to 2PM.  There is an awards ceremony and reception Friday from 5-8 PM.

I am also a finalist in the Artist's Magazine annual competition which is great news.  It's a very prestigious competition.  I'm attaching  an image of the award and the painting.
